Syntax[]
- {{ja|<Japanese>|<Rōmaji>|<Kana>}}
- The <Japanese> field is required. This may contain both kanji and kana (hiragana and katakana), as well as Latin letters and numbers when needed. Characters in this field are automatically bolded unless specified (see below).
- The <Rōmaji> field is optional, but is highly recommended due to the English-language nature of the Wiki. This may only contain rōmaji that corresponds to the characters in the <Japanese> field. Text in this field is automatically italicized.
- The <Kana> field is optional. This may only contain kana (hiragana and katakana) that correspond to characters in the <Japanese> field.
- The template automatically adds articles without this field to Category:Pages lacking furigana. To prevent it from doing so (such as when the characters in the first field are already in kana), simply add
|f=x
at the end of the template. For example,{{ja|ピカチュリン|f=x}}
